sweet isla is the perfect addition to the most adorable family ever! she has the most soulful eyes that are gifts from her mama and lucky lady was also blessed with the dimples from dad! i know that she is going to be adored and protected and fussed over by her big brothers whether she likes it or not.
so there is this boy and he meets this girl. he thinks she is special, and for this we know the boy is smart. he can make the girl smile and laugh and light up the whole world unlike any person before him, and for this we know the boy is charming. the boy asks for the the girl to honor him and become his wife and for this we know the boy is hopeful. she agrees and marries the boy, and for this the boy is jubilant, euphoric, blissful. time passes and life goes on and the boy and the girl have 3 wonderful, spirited, bright, charismatic, gorgeous children together, and for this the boy is proud. the boy thinks he is the luckiest guy alive, when the girl shares with him a secret... one more baby to make their family complete, and for this we know the boy is blessed, all because he met a girl.
these kids hearts are two sizes too big and solid gold. they have become a big part of our lives in the past three years and we have grown to cherish their friendship. i've loved being able to do their birthday pictures and documenting how fast they are changing. gabe, hope, and ezra bless the world they live in with their positive, fun loving spirits. each has such a distinctive unique personality and getting to know them has made my kids and my family better. we love you and wish you the very best.
i've know lisa nearly as long as i can remember. she has been a lifelong friend and i am so happy she's in kansas city, we have the opportunity to get together, that our kids will know each other! sawyer is the reason they have the expression "all boy" daredevil to the extreme he is always moving, exploring, and testing. hayden seems to be a bit more laid back so far, happy to observe her big brothers wild ways. she is sweet and darling and such a gorgeous baby girl. i secretly (or maybe not so secretly) hope that some day my declan grows into a man deserving of such a sweet soul.
talk about loved. dempsey is absolutely adored by big brother emmitt and big sisters malloy, and conley! i loved meeting and getting to know these sweet people. they are kind, and thoughtful, oh so fun, and have just the right dance moves to get the best giggles out of each other.
sweet adorable dominic was full of smiles, and is such a happy and content little guy. it warmed my heart to watch his parents just delight in and treasure their son!
this young lady has everything, grace, poise, warm, kindness, strength, humor, intelligence. i could go on and on and on. i loved every single thing about our session together and it was so hard to pick a reasonable number of favorites to show. i think she could easily be the newest heroine for any of the marvel shows that are on these days.
i love these boys. fletcher just hit his 9 month milestone session and we were able to get the whole family involved in the fun. cole is definitely the mover and shaker of the two, but faster than we can blink that will all change and fletcher will be chasing cole around everywhere!
charlie is one of the most charismatic and charming little men i have ever met. he is loved by everyone and makes every single person that he encounters feel special. sophie is equally enchanting but in a completely different way, soulful and reserved, you have to earn her love and attention. both of these kids are so wonderful, i smile just thinking about their huge hearts.
i love this family so much! they are kind, fun, and full of spirit. whenever we all get together we have a fantastic time, it goes too fast and isn't often enough!
3 years and 6 months and already the best of friends! these guys are so lucky to have each other.

if you are lucky enough to know luke, cole, and lauren you will know i am not even exagerating a tiny bit! these kids are so much fun and so so good. i have no idea how their parents got them to behave so well, what kind of bribe they used or treat that was promised, but i need to be let in on this secret. actually, i'm pretty sure the reason they were so happy is simply because they have great parents.
seeing the expressions on my children's sweet faces when we told them they were going to have a baby brother....... probably one of my most favorite and special moments in my life! owen, conner, and hailey were all old enough to actually understand what that meant right away this time, even though it took them a bit to decipher the signs i made ;) lila was oblivious, but still adorable and not completely uncooperative this time.
with the new arrival due at the end of november, my plan is to shoot as long as i can. i still feel great and thankfully have pretty non eventful pregnancies. however, i will have to limit the number of sessions i take on in october to ensure i can get everyone clients images done in a timely fashion and to make sure i don't over due anything. contact me soon, today even!!, to make sure we can get your session in during the peak autumn glory!

in for a sweet and simple mini shoot, charlie and sophie were so adorable! charlie is one of the most charismatic kids i have ever met and leaves you with so many warm and fuzzy feelings. sophie has the most beautiful chestnut eyes with the slightest hint of mischief.
