can we just cut to the chase and talk about these dimples?!?!? oh my oh my, ryder and britton are just about the most handsome little men ever. it's not hard to see where it comes from, mom and dad are both absolutely stunning. they are also two of the silliest, most delightful, and good natured kids i have met. they were up for anything with smiles on their faces, and we had such a great time!
while this session was awhile ago, i wanted to save it for today because today is a very special day. today is my sweet nephew, everett's, very first birthday! he has grown so much since this playdate. we always have the best time at my sister's house and all of the cousin's (all seven of them, yikes!) play together so well. all i hear all day and every day is can we go to hudson, avery, and everett's??? can h, a, and e come here??? when can we have a sleepover??? the love between these cousins is fast, strong, and unquestionable. they truly are each other's first best friends and i hope that bond continues throughout their entire lives. happy birthday everett can't wait to see you and watch you devour your cake!
i had so much fun with the b family celebrating madelyn's first birthday! she is beautiful, sweet, and adores her big brother grayson. it doesn't get much better than a morning of butterflies and cake.
darling baby austin is a dream. he is the spitting image of both of his big brothers and has his mama's beautiful, giant, delicious, chocolatey eyes. i'm sure he will be getting into things faster than mama can blink, as all boys should, but she will be able to look back at this time and remember the quiet, calm, cuddly moments no matter how brief they are.
sweet baby morgan is the 8th reason i am the luckiest auntie ever! i cannot wait to watch him grow up and turn into a super sweet, silly, and smart little boy. meredith and everett are a fantastic big sister big brother team and i know that morgan will be one well loved, well protected little guy. congratulations on your newest addition m family!
owen, i cannot believe you are now a seven year old! the fastest seven years of my life have gone by with the blink of my eye. you are a person now, with your own thoughts and opinions and the responsibility to make good choices lies on your own shoulders more and more each day. please learn to be a happy person and find the joy in what you have already, because you have so very much and are loved by so many. i am truly blessed to be your mama.
i cannot even begin to describe what an honor it is meeting such a new sweet little life like baby austin. he looks just like his big brothers and i'm sure will be spoiled rotten with brotherly love. thank you so so much mom and dad for letting me be there during this special time!
sawyer you are such a ham! until the camera comes out... good thing dad knows the secret trick to get this guy to loosen up. when he sings "take me out to the ballpark" sawyer is in heaven, starts giggling and smiling and is so excited he crumples over in laughter. but my favorites are his serious faces, i am a sucker for a serious baby stare down.
layla, i'm so glad we had a quick little session to catch you in your four month old adorableness. your squishy little lips and huge doe eyes are breathtaking little details that will change ever so slightly every single day. it really is amazing how much difference there can be between two and six months. if only it were possible for us mamas to stop time when we need to. to be able to soak all of your sweet baby smiles, and giggles, and snores in, and be okay with you growing into your next self.
big brother e and little sister e are so so loving! i first met the b family when big e was the age little e is now, and she was still under construction. it is amazing how much they have changed, turning into such a little lady and gentleman. they are sweet and silly the best way for kiddos to be and i have cherished every moment they have allowed me into their lives. i absolutely adore how the little man has his mama's warm rich melt your heart chocolatey eyes, and the little lady's match her daddy's slightly mischievous green sparkly gems.
i mean seriously. a is adorable! we had a great time playing outside on the bridge and in the grass and then we went to the set for a little cake. she loved every second of the smash and i think she would have stayed there all day playing and snacking on the silky frosting if we had let her.
i love these kids so much! h, a, and e belong to my sweet, smart, and stunning sister (along with her very lucky husband). we went out this particular morning with just two goals, one good shot of the three together and one group shot of all of the grand kids on my side of the family. we succeeded brilliantly! these kids have such fantastic personalities and i'm so excited because i've got an awesome lifestyle session, that really highlights those personalities, in the works to share with you in the next week or so.
i had so much fun meeting the w's! their family reminds me so much of my own. big l seems to be the protector, watching out for his little brother and sister. c is just like my second son, he has this mischievous little twinkle in his eye. like he has a secret or more likely has big plans to do or say something silly. little l might be the baby of the family, but i have a feeling that she rules the house. the boys adore her and i'm guessing they bend over backwards to make her happy. Don't make the mistake of thinking she will let you help her or do things for her. she is big beyond her years and wants to do everything herself. mom and dad are so sweet and kind, they are doing an amazing job crafting these kiddos into great people.
isn't my brother handsome? oh and lucky? he gave me a sweet, beautiful, fun sister-in-law. then they had s & c! two of the best kiddos an auntie could hope ever for. s is smart and bubbly and sooo very full of energy just like her mama. i honestly cannot remember a time that she was grumpy. c is a little quieter, a little more mello, and is the best cuddler.
these two have the best personalities. she's take charge, it's my way or the highway. he's laid back, no worries it's all good. both were so happy to be wiggling and squirming in the hot summer sun and tickly grass. he was seconds away from crawling and i'm sure she wasn't far behind. they both have to keep up with their older brothers and sisters! mom and dad are both just so cool. fun, easy to be with, and easy going. it's obvious these two are veterans and nothing seems to phase them. they have raised their kiddos well, one of the big brothers tagged along and was the biggest help. those bright light up your face smiles that grace little miss c's face are all for him. i loved being able to catch the tender cuddles between da and son. it was so sweet to see how much they adored their mama and da.
yea! i'm so excited!!! i am finally ready to debut my website and thought it only fitting for my first blog post to be of my very own sweet littles. they are wild and crazy, silly and oh so sweet. too smart for their own good and did i mention wild? my hope for them now and as they grow is that they always know how much they are loved by me and their dad, by each other, and by our amazing family and friends. for them to grow into thoughtful, kind, generous, loving people.
